The defeat of Hydross goes well beyond those present at his first kill this evening. The entire guild prepared for this event thru countless hours of farming, crafting and teamwork to make the necessary gear to be successful in this fight. To all those that supported us in the material drive, thank you for helping us acheive this success! After a quick run to The Lurker Below to do our weekly kill, the Guild returned to once again face off against Hydross the Unstable. After a couple of wipes on enrage timer, the raid was on the verge of having to reclear trash when a final attempt was called. Trash started respawning as the “Attack!” call was given and the raid unleashed it’s might. With smooth execution and practiced transitions, slowly and methodically Hydross fell to the unrelenting onslaught of the raid. The loots of the kill were: Brighthelm of Justice went to Tigeria, Ranger-General’s Chestguard went to Kylerayner, and Boots of the Shifting Nightmare went to Xeneah. Great work team, Great work! After a few fast runs learning the trash and quick attempts at Void Reaver, the raid set a side a night for the sole purpose of claiming some Tier5 shoulder tokens. Tonight was that night, the team started out a bit bumpy with silly wipes on some of the trash, but quickly got serious. Facing off against Void Reaver (known as Loot Reaver to most), the team started it’s relentless assault. VR’s health slowly worked itself down over the the course of the evening, wiping at 30%, 15%, but soon range and healers got the hang of the Arcane Orbs and the raid launched 1 final assault of the night. The night of practice paid off as everything fell into place - DPS was good, healing was awesome, tanks were on the ball. VR’s life quickly wittled away as the enrage timer raced down, then at the last 50 seconds, DPS went all out! “…and we broke the giant robot!” someone exclaimed, as the group broke into cheers! Tonight was a great job, by a great guild, pulling off a new first kill! Tonight’s lucky winners were Cutter and Psamathe who one their Tier5 shoulder tokens, and Rajbane for winning Warp-Spring Coil. Great work team! -Nax Comments Off Lurker Downed!Posted by Nax

Tonight, a band of Primal Rage’s raiders ventured once again into the watery depths of Serpent Shrine Caverns. The group quickly cleared to The Lurker Below and Amethyte broke out her trusty fishing pole. Mode explained the strategy for the night, a cumulation of experience from the past few weeks, and the group went to work. Upon the 2nd attempt, all the pieces fell into place for a near perfect execution of the encounter, and Lurker died. This marks the first T5 boss downed by Primal Rage, and everyone was quite excited! Excellent work to the team! Special thanks to Mode for keeping the group focused and on task. Tigeria won the Libram of Absolute Truth, Nesnah won Bracers of Eradication, and Cutter won the Choker of Animalistic Fury. -Nax Comments Off Akil’zon Defeated!Posted by Nax

A small band of Primal Rage raiders decided to wage war against the trolls of Zul’Aman tonight. The group quickly cleared to the Bear Boss, Nalorakk, and downed him (Rajbane being the lucky winner of the Bladeangel’s Money Belt. Does this boss drop anything else?). Encouraged by their quick success with Nalorakk, they charged off to “Akil’zon Gauntlet”. Racing thru quickly they beat the Gauntlet event and stood before Akil’zon. Steeling their courage, Cutter lead the group in and they went to work. Minute by minute Akil’zon’s health slowly dropped, everyone was alive and victory seemed assured. 5%..4%..3%… mana starts getting low, but everyone is up and focused…2%.. DPS pulls out all the stops, screaming with enraged vigor to claim Akil’zon… 1%.. Electrical storm… everyone quickly dies.. Yes. A 1% wipe as everyone was so focused on the killing blow everyone forgot the timers. Forunately, the group collected themselves, and charged off a 2nd time to claim the victory, and the first Primal Rage kill of Akil’zon. Congrats to Angleies for winning the Chestguard of Hidden Purpose. A special thanks to the team for their determination and patience as we mastered this new boss: Nax, Cutter, Psamathe, Rajbane, Badkaramaa, Mastrgor, Giblets, Slaymaster, Lunaran, and Angleies. A small band of raiders decided to size up the new Zul’Aman instance this last Saturday Morning. Running without any form of renewable crowd control, and some very clever kiting by Kylerayner, the team was able to clear the trash leading up to Nalorakk, the Bear Avatar. While boss fight is simple in it’s design it’s intense in it’s execution. Mode and Nax worked hard to get the tanking rotation down, while the healers did an awesome job healing the massive bleed effect damage the boss throws out. DPS’ers had colorful moments of unexpected tanking and pulled out every trick in the book to keep the group progressing. Ultimately, Nalorakk could not fend the team away, and was soundly defeated. Amethyte was the lucky winner of the Bladeangel’s Money Belt, and each team member got a Badge of Justice for their efforts. Aftewards, the team members opened the instance to guildies and friends a like to allow any interested the chance to complete the first few quests of ZA. It was a great time and fun experience for all. Special thanks to the team for their determination and patience as we learned the encounter: Nax, Mode, Rajbane, Amethyte, Dragomoon, Ifgant, Lunaran, Kyleranyer, MstrJonathan, Layonna and Netherstorm. -Nax Comments Off Primal Rage Kills Gruul!Posted by Nax

25Oct 07 The “real power of outlands” has fallen to Primal Rage, in an excellent display of raiding on our 3rd attempt of the evening Gruul the Dragonkiller fell before us!
The guild worked hard, and paid many repair bills as we learned to deal with shatters and the growths. We remained dedicated and focused to the goal of slaying the Dragonkiller, and it paid off. Naxirth and Badkarmaa received the T4 pant tokens, Kittylock recieved the Bloodmaw Magus-Blade, and Rajbane received his much longed for Dragonspine Trophy. Great work! -Nax Guild Leader Comments Off Primal Rage Kills High King Maulgar!Posted by Nax
